What Do DSWs Do?

A Bond Beyond Care: Re Re & Patsy’s Story
One of the best examples of the DSW difference comes from a recent visit between our client, Patsy, and her Direct Support Worker, Ronesia—affectionately known as Re Re.
The moment Re Re walked through the door, Patsy and her family lit up, shouting “Re Re!” and greeting her with hugs. Re Re didn’t just bring her warm presence that day—she also brought Patsy a thoughtful birthday gift. That simple act, combined with her daily care, reminded us that DSWs are not just caregivers—they’re family.
This story reflects what happens across all of our offices every day. Our DSWs don’t just provide services; they build deep bonds that uplift and strengthen both clients and families.
