Leading Home Care expanded to the Baton Rouge region when it acquired Absolute Care Providers in October 2016. The acquisition boosted Leading Home Care to become one of the best positioned in-home care providers in the State of Louisiana. By coming together, the two companies created a stronger, more competitive organization capable of creating new and better opportunities for its employees and clients.
Absolute Care Providers was founded by Stuart Sayes, who now acts as the Southeast Area Director for Leading Home Care.
“Almost everyone agrees that the home is the best setting for providing long-term care to an increasing number of recipients,” said Sayes. “Not only can care be provided less expensively in the home but evidence also suggests that home care is a key step toward achieving optimal health outcomes for many patients. We’re excited to expand our presence and services to care for our clients.”
The Baton Rouge office is community-minded and participates in many activities, including:

- Hosts the Egg-ceptional Celebration in March/April to celebrate Easter

Southeast Area Director, Regions 2, 3, & 9
Stuart joined our team in October 2016 when his company, Absolute Care Providers, was acquired by Leading Home Care. In his role, he oversees Baton Rouge, Thibodaux, and Hammond. He is a 1983 graduate of Louisiana State University and has lived in Baton Rouge and Thibodaux most of his life.
Stuart enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hunting, fishing, hiking, traveling, and attending sporting events. He has a genuine passion for caring for people with disabilities and the elderly and is truly proud to be team member of Leading Home Care.
Regional Director, Region 2
Katherine is a native of the Baton Rouge area and obtained a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She has spent the past 15 years in business operations but truly found her calling five years ago when she began working with medically fragile children and their families. Katherine is driven to ensure that our community’s most vulnerable population is protected and cared for in a compassionate and professional way, while remaining in the comfort of their own homes. She is proud to be a part of the Leading Home Care family and is excited about the future of the Baton Rouge region.
Katherine and her husband, Jeff, have five children, Whitney, Jay, Thor, Gracie, and Lauralynn, and several beautiful grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
