Leading Home Care expanded to the Baton Rouge region when it acquired Absolute Care Providers in October 2016. The acquisition boosted Leading Home Care to become one of the best positioned in-home care providers in the State of Louisiana. By coming together, the two companies created a stronger, more competitive organization capable of creating new and better opportunities for its employees and clients.
Absolute Care Providers was founded by Stuart Sayes, who now acts as the Southeast Area Director for Leading Home Care.
“Almost everyone agrees that the home is the best setting for providing long-term care to an increasing number of recipients,” said Sayes. “Not only can care be provided less expensively in the home but evidence also suggests that home care is a key step toward achieving optimal health outcomes for many patients. We’re excited to expand our presence and services to care for our clients.”
The Baton Rouge office is community-minded and participates in many activities, including:
- Active for Autism 5K Run/Walk & Fun Fest
- Hosts the Egg-ceptional Celebration in March/April to celebrate Easter
- Hosts the Chill & Grill in July
- Hosts a Halloween Party in October
- Hosts a Christmas Social in December
- Walk/Run to Remember-Alzheimer’s Walk at LSU Old Front Nine
