Community Involvement

Giving Back to the Places We Call Home

Our team at Leading Home Care values every opportunity to interact with and support our local communities. Through events such as Festival De Succès and outreach programs like our Backpack Drive, we build relationships while creating lasting memories!

Festival De Succès

In 2016, Leading Home Care expanded its community outreach by organizing the first-ever festival in Acadiana to embrace the abilities and talents of the developmentally disabled and spread their amazing stories to celebrate how these wonderful individuals make a difference in the Acadiana community. Festival de Succès draws hundreds of participants, caregivers, and community volunteers that provide services to people with disabilities in the Acadiana community.

Live music, dancing, face painting, food, games, and other activities provide a unique opportunity to celebrate the amazing gifts and talents of this community. We invite you to join us and get acquainted with someone who has a developmental disability and those that care for them. You will learn that everyone has a unique and amazing story to tell. It is one more way Leading Home Care fulfills its mission of “helping people live a better life.”

Through this event, we are reminded that No Dream is too Big and No Success is too Small!

Backpack Drive

The Leading Home Care team looks forward to our Backpack Drive when we get to donate backpacks and school supplies to the children of our DSWs, as well as to a local charity of choice within the different communities that we serve across Louisiana.

Randon’s Place at Healing House is the charity of choice for Leading Home Care in Acadiana. Randon’s Place provides grief counseling services, at no cost, to children who have lost a parent or sibling.
